Spindle disassembly and installation method
Spindle disassembly: spindle disassembly is very simple, but be careful: pay attention to the electricity, gas, and water connections.
1. Unplug the spindle power cord.
2. Unplug the spindle cooling water pipe.
3. Unplug the spindle of the corresponding pipe.
4. It is best to record the original spindle installation position for the clamp.
5. Remove the bolt on the top of the spindle (and guard against a sudden drop).
6. Clean the oil inside the sleeve.
Spindle installation:
1. Coat the sleeve with a layer of lubricating oil for rust; pay attention to the location of the original installation, and then reverse-install the order of the pipes (i.e. water pipes, then power lines and so on).
2. The length of the spindle extension is related to the thickness of the gasket on the spindle. In a certain range, the longer the thickness of the spacer, the longer the extension of the spindle. Under normal circumstances, the spindle extension length of 0.5mm prevails, but no more than 0.8mm. Measurement steps are as follows:
a. Measure the actual thickness of the gasket according to the thickness of the old gasket. Insert the tool holder and place the stand piece in the right position. Press the “HANDWHEEL” key on the operation panel to move the spindle to the watch head so that the handle is pressed and zeroed. And then press the “CLAMPING” button on the operation panel to see the swing value on the stylus. Repeat the above steps to measure the thickness of the gasket, and then put the thickness of the pad to pull the spindle.
b. Finally, set the tightening coupling to a range of 0.01 to 0.02mm.
3. Measure the spindle’s accuracy:
a. Insert the shank into the spindle grips. Use the dial gauge to measure the front end of the spindle, the rear runout, the spindle main bus, and the side bus, and check that the accuracy range is within 0.05mm.
4. Spindle positioning:
a. In MDI mode, press “SYSTEM” → “OFFSET SETTING” on the operation panel to change the parameter to “1”.
b. To change the spindle rotation angle, press “SYSTEM” → “PARAMETER” → “4077” (parameter address) to complete the conversion parameters from “1” to “0”.
c. Write the spindle positioning program in MDI mode: M03S200; M05; M19. Press the “RUN” operation key to execute. Repeat this step to adjust the spindle to the horizontal tool change position. In the case of the spindle’s release, the accuracy is measured in a micrometer range of 0 to 0.01 mm. Finally, the MDI state is canceled.
5. Manual tool change to confirm.
